John R. Oishei Children Hospital's Pediatric Trauma Center Outreach Activities
The staff at the Pediatric Trauma Center have been getting out and helping train first responders and others on pediatric trauma care and transportations, and on child seat safety and usage. Here’s a look at some of the things they have been doing!
UPMC in Jamestown, NY
UPMC is the largest non-profit healthcare provider in Southwestern, New York. In addition to operating a 277-bed hospital, it also provides emergency care for residents of the greater Jamestown community. Trainers instructed attendees on caring for sick and injured pediatric patients and how to prepare them for transport to John R. Oishie Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
